Please allow extra time traveling through the Baylor Medical complex, and avoid Washington Avenue when possible, over the next several months due to underground utilities construction.
Dallas County is widening and improving Washington Avenue intersections at Gaston and Junius.
For the next several months, motorists and pedestrians are being told to expect and plan ahead for construction, increased traffic congestion and driving delays in the affected areas, near Washington Avenue, intersections at Gaston Avenue and Junius Street. In addition to lane closures, they also warn that you should be prepared for the usual impacts of a large construction project, including on-site equipment, supplies, workers, noise, etc.
Baylor Parking and Transportation Services announced that they may slightly alter the driving routes of Baylor shuttles, but plan to maintain service to all existing shuttle stop locations. Riders should prepare for the possibility of delays as shuttles adjust to the construction project. View the Baylor shuttle bus routes, schedules, current bus location and updates to any route at www.BaylorBus.com. If using a mobile device with Internet service, visit www.baylorbus.com/m.
Please understand that neither Baylor Health System nor Dallas Associated Dermatologists can control the timeline or other aspects of this construction project.
