Dr. Jennifer Lai M.D
Dr. Jennifer Lai M.D. is a Board-Certified Dermatologist dedicated to providing excellent patient care. Her clinical interests include prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancers as well as treatment of a range of dermatological medical issues, including acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. She is committed to developing strong patient-doctor relationships by partnering with and educating her patients on their skin conditions.
Dr. Lai began her medical training at the University Southern California Keck School of Medicine where she graduated with highest distinction and was inducted into the honorary medical society Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her dermatology residency at Stanford University where she was awarded the Alfred Lane Award for Compassionate Care. After graduation, she joined the Stanford Dermatology Department as a faculty member and spent several years teaching Stanford residents and taking care of our nation’s veterans at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Health Care System. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at the VA, she honed her expertise in the treatment and removal of complex skin cancers. She has been active in research and has had several publications.
Prior to her medical training, Dr. Lai’s education began at the University of California with an undergraduate major in molecular cell biology. Afterwards, she attended Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government where she achieved her Masters in Public Policy.
Dr. Lai joined Dallas Associated Dermatologists in November 2018 after relocating to Plano from California with her family. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and spending time exploring the Dallas area with her husband and two boys. She looks forward to meeting you at the Las Colinas and Plano offices.
