About Me
Dr. Christine Landry is a board-certified Surgical Oncologist who has served patients in the Dallas area for more than 15 years. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, sarcoma, and other soft tissue tumors. For many years, she served as Co-Medical Director of the Skin Malignancy Research and Treatment Center at Baylor Scott & White Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center.
Dr. Landry graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering before earning her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She completed her General Surgery residency at the University of Louisville, followed by fellowships in Surgical Oncology and Surgical Endocrinology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. While at MD Anderson, she was selected by the faculty of the Department of Surgical Oncology to receive the Clinical Excellence Award in recognition of her outstanding patient care and clinical performance.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Landry has remained actively involved in cancer research and education. She has presented her work at more than 15 national surgical meetings, including the Society of Surgical Oncology. Her academic contributions include numerous book chapters and more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as the Journal of the American College of Surgeons and the Annals of Surgical Oncology. She has also contributed to the development of cancer staging systems through her work with the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) and served for many years as an Associate Board Examiner for the American Board of Surgery.
Known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, Dr. Landry is dedicated to providing personalized care while helping patients navigate complex cancer diagnoses with confidence and support.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Landry enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and playing the piano.
